Retadi guest house is situated
on the farm Dankbaar on the outskirts of Patensie en
route to the Baviaanskloof. It is ideally situated
for visitors to Patensie and the Baviaanskloof Mega Reserve
who need bed and breakfast or self catering accommodation.
The guest house is surrounded by citrus
orchards and operated by Adi-Mari Schoeman. It was built
just after World War II and completed in 1946. In 2004
it was converted into a guest house and was recently
awarded a four-star rating as well as a certificate of
merit from the Kouga Business Forum.
There are three bedrooms which can
accommodate up to nine people. Each room comes
with a television set (inc M-Net)
and an en suite bathroom. Braai facilities are at hand
for the enjoyment of the guests.
Visitors to this guest house are in for
a real treat as stars of the entertainment world, such
as Steve Hofmeyer
and Nicholis Louw, can testify.
