• From Port Elizabeth, driving on the N2, take the Hankey (Gamtoos Valley / Baviaanskloof) off-ramp.
• At the stop turn right and cross over the N2.
• Follow the road past Loerie and straight into Hankey.
• Carry on through Hankey at the 4-way stop towards Patensie.
  
  
• Roughly two kilometers before you enter Patensie (8 km from Hankey), you'll find a sign "DANKBAAR" on your left.
  
  Turn onto the gravel road and follow it for 600 meters.

• From Cape Town, driving on the N2, take the Humansdorp off-ramp.
• At the stop turn left towards Hankey.
• In Hankey turn left at the 4-way stop towards Patensie.
